The builds we stock

Game

The everyday supporter cut. Lightweight fabric, printed team graphics, and the fit most people picture when they think of an NFL jersey. This is the one to buy if you want to wear it every week.

Limited

A heavier, more structured build with stitched numbers and a tailored shoulder line. It sits closer to the body than a Game jersey and reads as a dressier option on game day.

Custom

Your name, your number. Custom builds let you put anything you want across the back, which is the move for a family jersey, a group tailgate, or a gift that cannot be bought off the rack.

Player

Built around a specific roster name. If a quarterback, receiver, or edge rusher is the reason you watch, this is the version that puts their name on your back.

What actually changes between an NFL jersey and a soccer shirt

An NFL jersey is built wide through the chest and shoulders with room to layer a hoodie underneath in December. Soccer shirts are cut slim. If you are used to buying football kits, take your NFL jersey in the size you would wear over a sweatshirt, not the size you would wear next to skin.

The build is boxier on purpose — football shirts are worn over pads, so the chest and sleeves run straighter than a soccer cut. The number does the talking too: where a soccer shirt is read by its crest, an NFL design is read across the shoulders first.

Home, away, alternate, and throwback

NFL colorways cycle in a predictable rhythm. Home jerseys carry the primary team color, away jerseys flip to white or a light neutral, and alternate designs rotate in for a season or two at a time. Throwback and Super Bowl era designs come back in waves, so a design you missed can reappear — but not on a schedule you can plan around.

Color rush designs sit in the same family — one bold color worn in place of the usual combination — and they rotate like alternates. Throwbacks return old designs for anniversary seasons and are often the sharpest shirt in a team's range, so check them even if you follow the current roster.

Sizing across the four fits

Men's, women's, youth, and custom builds each use their own block, so a men's medium and a women's medium are not the same jersey. Measure your chest and compare it to the size chart rather than assuming you carry the same letter across both.

Game fits closest to a normal t-shirt, Limited adds structure through the shoulders, and Custom follows the Limited pattern with your name and number applied. If you plan to layer over a hoodie in winter, take the larger of the two sizes you are deciding between.

Team colors do not change — designs do

The team color is fixed, which is why a jersey in the primary color stays wearable no matter how many alternate designs the league cycles through. If you want one NFL jersey to last a decade, buy the team color without a player name and treat it as a long-term piece rather than a season purchase.

That is why a colorway from three seasons ago still pairs with the current one. Alternates and throwbacks borrow the same palette, so a small collection of mixed-year shirts still reads as one team's kit rather than a pile of different designs.

Buying a jersey for a kid who is still growing

Youth blocks are their own pattern, not a shrunken adult jersey — narrower through the chest and shorter in the body. If a child is between youth sizes, most people take the larger one and accept a slightly loose shoulder for a season, because a youth jersey that is too tight through the shoulders is unwearable while one that is a little big is not.

Youth cuts are patterned separately rather than scaled down from adult shirts, so the shoulders and length actually fit a smaller frame. If a growth spurt is likely, the honest move is the bigger youth size now and an adult small when the youth range is outgrown.

How to check a jersey in the first five minutes

When a jersey arrives, check three things before you commit to wearing it: that the name and number are spelled the way you ordered them, that the crest sits flat with no lifted edges, and that the label size matches what you selected rather than just the hanger it shipped on. Catching a print issue before the first wash is far easier than after it.

Look at the numbering first — stitched layers sit flat and keep their shape in the wash, while a printed layer is lighter and cheaper by design. Then check the collar, the shoulder seam, and that the tags match the listing title. Those points tell you everything the price tier promised.

Frequently asked

Should I size up in an NFL jersey?

If you plan to wear it over a hoodie or a long sleeve shirt, yes — go up one size. If you want a closer, dressier fit, take your normal size. Youth sizes run much smaller than men's and are not simply a scaled-down copy of the adult block.

Can I put my own name on the back?

Yes. Custom jerseys let you choose the name and number. Custom builds are made to order, so they cannot be returned the way a stock jersey can, which is why we suggest confirming your spelling and number before you check out.

What is the difference between Game and Limited?

Game is the lighter, printed supporter cut. Limited is heavier with stitched numbers and a more tailored shoulder. Neither one is a game-worn garment — both are fan versions built for wearing in the stands.

Do you carry every team?

We stock most of the league. If a team is not showing in the grid above, it means we do not currently have inventory for it rather than that the store has been closed to that team.

How do I keep the graphics from cracking?

Wash inside out in cold water and skip the dryer. Heat is what breaks down printed graphics, so air drying is the single biggest thing you can do to keep the numbers sharp.

What size should I buy if it is a gift?

Take their normal t-shirt size for a closer fit, or one size up if they layer over a hoodie. If you genuinely cannot find out, a team jersey without a player name is the safer gift because it stays relevant through roster changes.

Will the printed numbers crack or peel?

Printed graphics hold up well if you keep heat away from them. Wash cold, inside out, and air dry. The dryer is what causes cracking, not normal wear in the stands.

Will a throwback design come back in stock?

Throwback and alternate designs return in waves rather than on a fixed schedule. When a design sells through we cannot restock it at will, so if a specific colorway is the reason you are buying, take it while it is listed.

Can I get any name and number on an NFL jersey?

Custom builds follow the Limited pattern and take the name and number you choose, as long as the spelling fits the lettering style. Player editions carry the roster names already set up, which is the faster route if you want a current star.

Which teams hold the deepest stock?

The franchises with the largest followings keep every fit in most sizes through the season, while the rest lead with home and away in Game and Limited. The count under each team crest on the league page is the honest answer on any given day.
